Free school shoes for San Juan students

MANILA, Philippines — San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora distributed free school shoes to more than 1,000 students in daycare centers as part of his birthday celebration.He turned 46 yesterday.

A total of 1,109 pupils received leather shoes.

The gift-giving activity was in partnership with World Balance and EasySoft.

“I am grateful for them for allowing me to give simple gifts to students, especially on my birthday,” Zamora said.

On Dec. 2, Zamora led a bloodletting program as well as free pneumococcal and flu vaccination for senior citizens and persons with comorbidities.
