COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Six persons were wounded in a grenade explosion that ripped through a residential area in Pikit, Cotabato on Saturday.
Esmail Abu, Rahib Alang, Muhamad Kalido, Tarmeji Kalido, Mukindang Kalido and Ben Matcher were taken to a hospital for treatment of shrapnel wounds, police said
The victims were passing time in Sitio Punol, Fort Pikit when a fragmentation grenade landed in front of them and exploded.
It was the second grenade explosion in Pikit in eight days.
