COTABATO CITY — Four police pick-up trucks got damaged after their rear were rammed in a peculiar accident in Balingoan town in Misamis Oriental on Wednesday morning.
One of the four vehicles reportedly swerved uncontrollably and fell into a concrete roadside ditch.
In separate initial reports, the Balingoan Municipal Police Station and the Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Office said the four pick-trucks were in a convoy en route to somewhere when the lead unit was hit at the rear by the vehicle trailing behind.
The third and fourth vehicles also rammed each other’s rear, causing damages.
No one was reported hurt in the collision of the four vehicles, but flow of traffic at the scene of the accident was stalled for a while until responding policemen and emergency responders from the Balingoan municipal government had moved all damaged units to one side of the highway.
