COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A 25-year-old woman died after she was struck by lightning in Libungan, Cotabato on Saturday.
Jessabel Namol died at the scene of the incident that occurred in Barangay Kapayawi, police said.
Villagers said Namol was fetching water when lighting struck.
