256 barangay SK officials to take oath in Parañaque

MANILA, Philippines — There are 256 newly elected barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials joining the mass oath-taking ceremony in Parañaque City today.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Eric Olivarez extended his congratulations to the elected officials of the recently concluded village and youth council elections.

The oath-taking ceremony will be held at the City Sports Complex, attended by winning candidates from 16 barangays in the city’s two districts.

Olivarez previously led the oath-taking of his sister Eva at the mayor’s office on Oct. 31.

She was elected as Barangay San Dionisio’s captain.

Olivarez also led the oath-taking of Mar Jimenez, who previously headed the city’s public information office.

Jimenez was elected as Barangay Don Bosco’s captain.
