Number coding lifted for BSKE, Undas
MANILA, Philippines — The number coding scheme will be lifted for the upcoming barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan or BSKE elections and Undas, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced yesterday.
The traffic scheme, also known as the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program, will be suspended on Oct. 30, which was declared a non-working holiday by Malacañang for the BSKE.
The number coding scheme is also lifted on Nov. 1 and 2.
The MMDA advised passengers to plan their travel ahead of time and follow traffic rules.
The expanded number coding scheme is enforced from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
