MANILA, Philippines — Three fast food chains under Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) will provide temporary employment to senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Muntinlupa City.
Jollibee, Greenwich and Burger King will start hiring seniors and PWDs across franchise stores in Muntinlupa.
This came after the Muntinlupa City council approved on Oct. 17 three separate resolutions authorizing the city government to sign memorandums of agreement (MOA) with Jollibee, Greenwich Philippines and Burger King Philippines.
Under the MOAs, the elderly and PWDs will be assigned to do “front of house” responsibilities such as ushering guests and helping with table services.
The city government said those who wish to apply may visit the Office of Senior Citizens’ Affairs and the Person with Disability Affairs Office.
Recently, the city government also partnered with Shakey’s and Peri-Peri to hire elderly and PWDs across their franchise stores in Muntinlupa.
