Cops intensify search for missing beauty queen
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — The Calabarzon police has intensified its efforts to locate Miss Grand Philippines 2023 contestant Catherine Camilon, who was reported missing on Oct. 12.
Regional police chief Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas said police units were tasked to gather all available information to establish a timeline of Camilon’s movement on the day she disappeared.
“We are leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to resolve this case,” Lucas said.
Lt. Col. Chitadel Gaoiran, Calabarzon police spokesperson, urged the public to report or contact the Tuy municipal police station through hotline numbers 0998 5985711 or 0915 8991931.
Camilon, 26, a high school teacher and resident of Barangay Rillo in Tuy, left her house in a Nissan Juke with license plate NEI-2990.
The last time she talked to her mother was when she was in a gasoline station in Bauan.
