Muslims reaffirm support for QCPD chief
MANILA, Philippines — Leaders of Muslim communities are backing Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan as director of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
Sixty Muslim leaders from the six districts in Quezon City met with Maranan and other police officials during a courtesy visit at the QCPD headquarters at Camp Karingal on Wednesday.
The meeting aims to strengthen the collaboration and unity between the law enforcers and Muslim community in the city.
During the meeting, the Muslim leaders emphasized their support for Maranan.
They also discussed mutual concerns and various avenues for cooperation, fostering a sense of understanding and collaboration.
In response, Maranan assured the people of Quezon City of security regardless of their religion or cultural background.
