Woman nabbed for shabu
MEYCAUAYAN, Bulacan, Philippines — An alleged major supplier of shabu was arrested in a sting in this city on Saturday.
Lorna Salvador is allegedly a high-value target, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
PDEA information officer Glenn Guillermo said Salvador was arrested in Barangay Malhacan after she allegedly sold shabu to undercover agents.
The suspect reportedly yielded 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000 as well as marked money.
The drugs were submitted to the PDEA Central Luzon laboratory for analysis.
Meanwhile, in nearby Guiguinto town, police seized five marijuana bricks with an estimated street value of P444,000 from two suspected drug traffickers on Saturday night.
Jeremiah Santos and Erika Joy Adviento were collared at around 11:30 p.m. following a sting in Barangay Poblacion, according to reports reaching the office of Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director.
Aside from the marijuana, police said they seized from the suspects a weighing scale and marked money.
