MANILA, Philippines — A total of 10,400 examinees completed the first day of the 2023 Bar examinations on Sunday, the Supreme Court (SC) said.
The figure is equivalent to 96.38 percent turnout from the initial 10,791 Bar examinees.
The examinees completed Political Law and Public International Law in the morning. They took Commercial and Taxation Laws in the afternoon.
This year’s Bar exams chairman Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando said the first day was a “success.”
The second day of the Bar exams is scheduled tomorrow for Civil and Labor Laws and Social Legislation.
The last day of the Bar exams will be on Sunday when the examinees will take Criminal Law, Remedial Law as well as Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises.
