RJ Bermudez, 36, and S/Sgt. Ronald Pelicano, 42, who is assigned with the Masambong police station, figured in a near-collision along Katipunan Avenue in Barangay Loyola Heights at around 2:20 p.m., police investigators said.

Bermudez told probers he was driving a Toyota Vios when he saw the incoming Pelicano driving a motorcycle.

Bermudez claimed he honked his horn to warn Pelicano but the policeman allegedly got offended.

The two then got into a heated argument until police arrived at the scene and confiscated Pelicano’s 9mm handgun.

The two were brought to the Anonas police station for investigation.
