CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines —  Robbery cases were filed on Wednesday against six persons who robbed customers of a samgyupsal restaurant in Imus, Cavite on Monday night.

Mel John Rutaquio, Mark Randolph Cruz, a certain Rudy and an alias Onyor were charged before the Imus prosecutor’s office, Col. Christopher Olazo, Cavite police director, said.

Rutaquio, the alleged leader of the robbery gang, was arrested at his residence in Barangay 133 in Pasay City on Tuesday.

Police said one of the motorcycles used by the suspects was recovered.

Footage of a closed-circuit television camera in the restaurant, which went viral, showed six armed men declaring a holdup and taking the personal belongings of the customers of the restaurant along Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Anabu at around 11 p.m.
