Four-alarm fire hits Port Area

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in Port Area, Manila yesterday afternoon.

The blaze reached fourth alarm at around 5:16 p.m. as it spread to houses in Barangay 650, according to initial reports from the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Radio reports said the houses could be where many store owners in Port Area reside.

There were no reports on casualties and the extent of property damage as of press time.
