COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A doctor in this city has been reported missing and believed to have been kidnapped, according to her friends and relatives.

Marivic Tello, an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Cotabato Regional Medical Center, was last seen on Sunday.

The city government offered a reward of P300,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of Tello.

The doctor is the wife of retired general Agustin Tello, former head of the Maguindanao police.

Brig. Allan Nobleza, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police director, and 6th Infantry Division commander Maj. Gen. Alex Rillera said police and military units are helping in the search for the doctor.
