Woman stabbed to death, robbed at Baguio home

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A woman believed to be a victim of robbery was found dead with multiple stab wounds at her home in this city yesterday.

The body of Floradel de Mesa, 39, was discovered by her child at their home in Purok 8, Sampaguita Site in Barangay San Luis at around 6 a.m.

Baguio City police Station 1 commander Maj. Dencio Dayao said the money of the victim worth P100,000 was reported missing.

De Mesa’s other child, a three-year-old, who was with the victim, was unharmed.

Police said they have identified the suspect in the killing, but did not give details.
