Las Piñas launches child development center

MANILA, Philippines — Aiming to provide a safe environment for youngsters, the city government of Las Piñas has opened a child development center in Barangay Pulang Lupa Uno.

Vice Mayor April Aguilar and Councilor John Jess Bustamante graced the occasion at Santos Homes Complex on Thursday.

The center is a project of the city social welfare and development office to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Aguilar commended proponents of the project as she noted child development centers play a crucial role in shaping the future of the community by fostering early childhood education, social skills and emotional well-being.

“The center’s opening provides evidence of the collaborative efforts of local authorities and the community, who have recognized the long-term benefits of investing in children’s education and welfare,” the city government said in a statement.

The center will become a cornerstone in nurturing young minds and shaping a brighter future for communities in Pulang Lupa Uno, according to the city government.
