Missing woman found stuffed in drum

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A woman who had been missing for several days was found dead in Cainta, Rizal on Monday.

The body of Maribel Bacsal, 42, a caregiver of an elderly couple, was found stuffed in a plastic drum in the backyard of a house at a subdivision in Barangay San Isidro, according to Rizal police director Col. Dominic Baccay.

The body was discovered after residents complained of a foul smell coming from the house.

Baccay said a manhunt for a person of interest identified as Kenneth Tan is underway.
