MMDA: No number coding on Eid’l Adha

Ghio Ong - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The number coding scheme will be suspended on June 28 after Malacañang declared it a regular holiday in observance of Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced yesterday.

This means that all cars, including those with plate numbers ending in 5 and 6 that are usually prohibited every Wednesday, can traverse major roads in Metro Manila during the holiday.
