Muntinlupa opens barangay PLEB desks

Emmanuel Tupas - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — To fasttrack the filing of complaints against erring police officers, the Muntinlupa City government has opened People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) desks in all its barangays.

In a statement on Thursday, the city government said the PLEB inaugurated its nine barangay desks on June 16.

Muntinlupa PLEB chairman Victor Lizardo presided over the oathtaking of designated desk officers for Barangays Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Bayanan, Buli, Cupang, Poblacion, Putatan, Sucat and Tunasan.

The initiative of the city government is based on City Ordinance No. 2023-053, which mandates the establishment of barangay PLEB desk offices.

People with inquiries about the PLEB desks may call 02 8624935 or message the local government through [email protected].
