Lagusnilad to be totally closed
MANILA, Philippines — The Lagusnilad underpass in Manila will be totally closed to vehicular traffic starting June 13, Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan said yesterday.
The city government had closed half of the underpass last month. The other half would be sealed off to allow workers to repair the underpass in five months, Lacuna-Pangan said.
The rehabilitation of the underpass involves upgrading its pumping systems, concreting and drainage improvement.
Lacuna-Pangan reminded motorists to use alternate routes to avoid heavy traffic in the area.
