Baliwag, Bulacan, Philippines — The Social Security System (SSS) has monitored unpaid contributions amounting to P1.93 billion in its 10 branches in Central Luzon.
Records show that 29,985 employers were found delinquent in paying the SSS contributions of their employees.
The 10 SSS branches are in Baliuag, Bocaue, Malolos, Meycauayan, San Jose del Monte and Sta. Maria in Bulacan; Angeles and Mabalacat in Pampanga, and Olongapo in Zambales.
At least 46,619 employers remit the contributions of their employees in the 10 SSS branches.
Under the Run After Contributions Evaders or RACE campaign of the SSS, delinquent employers have 15 days to avail themselves of the pandemic relief and restructuring or enhanced installment payment programs, which provide flexible payment terms.
Delinquent employers can settle their unpaid contributions within nine to 60 months, depending on the amount.
