Go attends Super Health Center launch in Cagayan
MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go attended the inauguration of a Super Health Center and joined Sarakat Festival actvities in Sta. Praxedes, Cagayan on Thursday.
Accompanied by local officials, including Vice Gov. Melvin Vargas Jr., Mayor Esterlina Aguinaldo and acting Vice Mayor Gil Buenavista, Go reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to improve access to basic healthcare for those who need government attention the most.
“Ang Super Health Center is a medium type of a polyclinic. Mas maliit po sa hospital, mas malaki po sa rural health unit, kung saan po ay pwede magpagamot at may basic services tulad ng panganganak, dental, laboratory at iba pa,” Go said.
He said Super Health Centers would be turned over to local government units upon construction.
Super Health Centers offer database management, outpatient, birthing, isolation, diagnostic (laboratory: x-ray and ultrasound), pharmacy and ambulatory surgical unit. Other available services are eye, ear, nose, and throat service; oncology centers, physical therapy and rehabilitation center and telemedicine.
