Taguig partners with SLMC

MANILA, Philippines — Taguig residents needing medical attention and surgical procedures will have access to hospital services through the city government’s partnership with St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) in Bonifacio Global City

In a statement yesterday, the city government said it signed a multi-year memorandum of agreement to help residents facing health crises “based on the assessment of the social workers and the Taguig city health office.”

Under the agreement, only qualified beneficiaries endorsed by the city government may enjoy the benefits of the partnership but patients in other hospitals who received primary care may also qualify.

Dr. Dennis Serrano, president and CEO of SLMC, said the hospital would also help the city government identify residency training programs of Taguig doctors in its partner institutions.

Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano said the program is an excellent addition to the city’s health and wellness services.
