MANILA, Philippines — A woman said to be formerly engaged in investment schemes was killed in an attack by motorcycle-riding men in Davao City on Saturday.
Anabelle Elizagaque, 51, had just left an establishment owned by her daughter in Barangay Maa when she was killed at around 2 p.m., according to the police.
Elizagaque died instantly from multiple gunshot wounds.
Probers recovered three bullet shells and the personal belongings of the victim from the crime scene.
Reports said Elizagaque was an agent of an investment scheme company, which reportedly defrauded people of their hard-earned money.
