MANILA, Philippines — Mayor Abby Binay has signed an agreement with Cardinal Santos Medical Center to accommodate patient referrals from the Ospital ng Makati.
Binay said she signed the agreement to allow patient transfers between the hospitals so that her constituents can have specialized healthcare.
“Our partnership will benefit Makatizens immensely. It provides them easy access to top-tier healthcare services and a wider range of specialists,” Binay said.
“I want to ensure that quality healthcare is accessible for anyone who needs it – regardless of their ability to pay,” she added.
The city had also entered into the same deal with the Makati Medical Center and Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Binay will open today the outpatient department of the Makati Life Medical Center, a public-private partnership between city hall and LifeNurture Inc. It is located along Metropolitan Avenue.
City hall described the new hospital as a “new facility equipped with the latest machines and technology, as well as highly trained health professionals.”
