Parañaque inks partnership with PLDT
MANILA, Philippines — The Parañaque City government and telecommunications firm PLDT has inked an agreement for the operations of the city’s new dialysis center.
Under the agreement that Mayor Eric Olivarez and PLDT enterprise business head of local government unit relations Vincent Rodriguez signed on Friday, the telecommunications company will provide internet connection to the newly opened dialysis center of the Ospital ng Parañaque I in Barangay La Huerta.
Olivarez said the partnership would ensure the dialysis center would be fully utilized to bring services to their constituents.
He said there are seven dialysis machines in the hospital and they expect the number to increase next year to assist more patients with kidney ailments.
Olivarez said the improvement in the city’s healthcare system proves that they could achieve their goals through unity.
Last February, PLDT donated six wireless telephones and smart boosters to the hospital.
