MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has named two new directors at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

In a letter to Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla dated April 3, Marcos said he has appointed Noel Cruz Bocaling and Romel Tuazon Papa as directors IV of the NBI.

The agency, which investigates crimes and other offenses against Philippine laws, is under the justice department.

According to the letter, Bocaling replaced Vicente de Guzman III while Papa replaced Jose Justo Yap.

“By virtue thereof, they may qualify and perform the duties of the office,” the President said.
