MANILA, Philippines — The number coding scheme will be suspended in Makati on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Day of Valor, according to city government.
“Please be informed that the number coding scheme in Makati will be suspended on April 6, 7, and 10 in observance of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Araw ng Kagitingan,” the city hall said in an advisory yesterday.
Mayor Abby Binay also urged residents to join the Holy Week procession on Good Friday at Barangay Poblacion.
The barangay will have 50 “1” or the tableaus of Jesus Christ’s sufferings for this year’s Lenten season, Binay added.
