Boom truck falls into cliff; 4 dead

CAGAYAN DE ORO , Philippines — Three government employees and a barangay kagawad died when a boom truck fell into a cliff in Quezon, Bukidnon yesterday.

Ronald Rene Pantua; Ricardo Saison, 56; Alfredo Villamero, 42, and barangay councilman Eduardo Sereno Jr. died at the scene, according to Maj. Noel Cano, town police chief.

Ronald Ratunil, 43, was injured and remained confined in a hospital.

Police said the boom truck, which is owned by the municipal government, had transported culverts in Sitio Bagong Lipunan and was heading back to the municipal hall when the accident occurred.
