P2.7 million shabu seized in Laguna

MANILA, Philippines — Around 400 grams of shabu valued at P2.72 million were seized in San Pablo City in Laguna on Wednesday.

Michelle Sarmiento and Edrian Pecayo, said to be “high-value” targets, were arrested after they allegedly sold 15 grams of shabu to a policeman who posed as a buyer in Barangay San Cristobal.

Police said a Honda Civic used by the suspects was also confiscated.

In Batangas, Rey Factor was apprehended in a sting in Barangay Bolbok. The suspect reportedly yielded 35 grams of shabu worth P238,000.
