MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit an industrial warehouse in Makati City on Friday afternoon that destroyed at least 13 vehicles and injured one person.
Arson investigators from the Bureau of Fire Protection are conducting an assessment to determine the estimated cost of property damage in the warehouse fire in Barangay Singkamas.
The fire, which broke out at around 4:25 p.m., reached third alarm at around 4:39 p.m. and was put out
at around 8:06 p.m.
The blaze also destroyed at least four houses.
A security guard identified as Lydio Nacional, 64, was brought to a hospital after sustaining second-degree burns on his right arm.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
