CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Rape charges have been filed against two policemen in Laguna and Cavite.
One of the suspects, with a rank of master sergeant and assigned at the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division at the Calabarzon police office, allegedly raped his three-year-old daughter.
Cabuyao police chief Lt. Col. Jack Angog said the policeman was also charged with possession of illegal drugs and is facing administrative charges for grave misconduct.
In Cavite, Patrolman Daniel Bernard, 33, a non-commissioned police officer, surrendered and turned over his firearm to the Silang police station.
Tagaytay Regional Trial Court Branch 18 Judge Minelli Rocio-Carvajal issued the arrest warrant based on a complaint filed by the guardian of the victim.
