MANILA, Philippines — A 69-year-old retired factory worker from Valenzuela City has claimed the P63-million jackpot in the Super Lotto 6/49 at the central office of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in Mandaluyong City.

The new millionaire guessed the winning combination 05-42-40-03-25-35, which carried a total prize of P63,013,007.40 on Nov. 27.

“Itong mga numerong ito ay galing po sa aking panaginip. Wala pa pong lotto noong 1995. Noong nagkaroon ng lotto, inalagaan ko pa ang mga numbers. Hindi ko naman po akalain na ngayon ko po makukuha ang jackpot,” he said.

The winner said he has been playing lotto for the past 27 years.

A father of three, he said he used to earn P500 per day as factory worker.

He said he would put up his own business.

“My plan is to enjoy life and have my own business. I am a former factory worker. Now I will be the factory owner,” he said in Filipino.
