MANILA, Philippines — The Malabon City government gave cash gifts of P100,000 each to two centenarians who celebrated their birthday.
On Facebook, Malabon Mayor Jeannie Sandoval greeted Fortunata de la Cruz and Francisca Antonio.
She handed the cash gifts to De la Cruz and Antonio for their 100th birthday.
Under Republic Act 10868 or the Centenarians Act, a centenarian is entitled to receive P100,000 from the government.
