Mayor Honey Lacuna led the distribution of gifts to senior citizens from Baseco, Barangay 649, Zone 68 as well as Barangays 571, 573 and 576.
Lacuna promised to continue giving social services to the city’s poor.
During the first 12 days of December, city hall distributed food packs to 695,000 families from 896 barangays, according to the Manila public information office.
The Christmas food packs contain rice, corned beef, spaghetti noodles and sauce, cheese, fruit cocktail as well as milk.
The project started in 2019 under Lacuna’s predecessor Isko Moreno.
