3 die in Bataan road mishaps

ORANI, Bataan, Philippines — Thee persons died in separate vehicular accidents in Bataan on Saturday night.

School teacher Ailene Dulay, 31, was in a Toyota Vios along with three others when a fuel tanker hit them along Roman Highway in Barangay Doña.

Dulay was declared dead on arrival at the Jose Payumo District Hospital, where she was rushed along with her three companions for treatment, according to Col. Romell Velasco, Bataan police director.

On the same night, Sangguniang Kabaatan officer Joshua Garcia, 26, and Jayson Valmadrid, 26, died after a sport utility vehicle (SUV) rearended their motorcycle in Barangay Luakan, Dinalupihan town.

Initial investigation showed the driver of the SUV, identified as Oliver del Rosario, 26, lost control of the wheel, causing him to hit the victims.
