MANILA, Philippines — The Manila city government has entered into partnerships with three towns in Leyte for the development of education, economy and tourism sectors.
In a Facebook Live address on Friday, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna said the agreement aims to strengthen collaboration and economic development between the city and the three towns in Leyte.
“We will be able to showcase our best practices and beautiful sceneries as well as the revival of Manila and how it has improved since the administration of (former mayor) Isko Moreno,” Lacuna said.
She signed the agreements with Mayors Bernie Tacoy of Matag-ob, Edgardo Cordeño of Isabel and Ramon Oñate of Palompon on Nov. 18.
