Ed Amoroso, Emmanuel Tupas - The Philippine Star

LAGUNA, Philippines — A man posing as an Army reservist was arrested for indiscriminate firing and possession of unlicensed firearms in Nagcarlan town in this province on Sunday.

Vincent Conejo, said to be a disaster and response employee of Parañaque City, failed to show documents for the six firearms and ammunition found in his vehicle by responding police officers, according to Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, Laguna police director.

Prior to Conejo’s arrest, a resident informed the police that someone had fired shots in Barangay Tipacan at around 1 p.m.

The suspect was taken to the Nagcarlan police for questioning.
