TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines — A 19-year-old senior high school student stabbed to death his 32-year-old teacher in Barangay Sulod in Basey, Samar on Sunday.
M/Sgt. Jerry Vargas, investigator on case, identified the victim as George Varsana and the suspect as Kurt Apolinar.
Initial investigation showed that the two were drinking liquor with their common friend when Apolinar attacked Varsana.
Varsana died while being treated in a hospital.
Apolinar surrendered after the incident.
