MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has extended the validity of driver’s licenses and car registration for a month, in consideration of the onslaught of Super Typhoon Karding and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The LTO said the validity of licenses set to expire in August and September will be extended until Oct. 31. This covers student permits, driver’s license, conductor’s license and medical certificates.
The registration of vehicles with plate numbers ending in “8” will also be extended until Oct. 31.
