Motorcycle crashes into ambulance; 2 hurt

MANILA, Philippines — Two persons on a motorcycle were injured after they crashed into an ambulance in Quezon City yesterday.

Caleb Cuaresma, 33, was driving a Yamaha Mio motorcycle with back rider Adrian Lladoz, 27, when the accident occurred in Barangay San Bartolome at around 3:20 a.m., according to police.

Probers said the victims were traveling along Quirino Highway bound for Mindanao Avenue when their motorcycle hit an ambulance, which was about to enter the Novaliches District Hospital.

Cuaresma and Lladoz suffered injuries as they fell to the ground. They were brought to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Probers went to the scene and interviewed the ambulance driver, Patrick Borromeo, 21.
