CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union, Philippines — A man allegedly killed his wife using a bladed weapon following an argument at their house in Barangay Mangga in Aringay, La Union on Tuesday.
Police and municipal health office staff who responded to the incident said the victim, Relly Ramos, 38, died at the scene.
Col. Lambert Suerte, La Union police director, said the suspect, Ferdinand Ramos, surrendered.
Suerte said a minor child of the couple told police that she heard her parents arguing and saw her mother unconscious and bleeding when her father came out of the room.
The suspect is being held at the Aringay police station. He is facing charges of parricide.
