MANILA, Philippines — Around 500 traffic enforcers will be deployed for the 55th Asian Development Bank annual meeting next week, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Tuesday.
At least 300 delegates from member-economies are expected to attend the ADB meet, which will be held at Ortigas Center in Mandaluyong from Sept. 26 to 30.
The MMDA said members of the Task Force Traffic Management would be deployed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic from the airport to the venue and billeting hotels of the delegates.
No roads will be closed during the five-day event, but motorists can expect traffic jams in Ortigas and other affected routes, the MMDA said.
