MANILA, Philippines — The Marcos administration is readying assistance for Filipino workers affected by the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Taiwan on Sunday.

Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople said she has ordered the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Taiwan to provide her regular updates as aftershocks were recorded yesterday.

There are over 147,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Taiwan.
