P748,000 shabu seized in Makati
MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics operatives confiscated P748,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu from a suspected drug dealer in Makati City on Friday night.
The suspect, Kenneth Anthony Carreon, was apprehended in a sting in Barangay Pitogo at around 7:45 p.m., Southern Police District (SPD) director Col. Kirby John Kraft said.
The suspect allegedly struck a a deal with a policeman posing as a drug buyer for P8,000 worth of shabu.
Kraft said 110 grams of shabu placed in a sling bag were recovered from Carreon.
Police records showed Carreon was arrested in September 2017 and March 2020 for drug trafficking. He is facing new criminal charges for his latest arrest.
