350 OFWs back from Kuwait

MANILA, Philippines — Some 350 overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from Kuwait arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 on Tuesday night.

The OFWs flew in on a Philippine Airlines chartered flight.

The repatriated OFWs were assisted by representatives from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration upon arrival at the airport.

The DMW said Filipino workers with incomplete COVID vaccination would undergo quarantine in hotels for a few days.

Authorities said some of the repatriated OFWs were arrested in Kuwait for overstaying and working with expired visas.
