Nueva Ecija police OIC assumes post

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — The officer-in-charge of the Nueva Ecija police assumed the post in a simple ceremony on Friday.

Col. Richard Caballero replaced Col. Jess Mendez, who served as acting provincial police director for seven months.

Central Luzon police deputy director for administration Brig. Gen. Jerry Bearies presided over the turnover ceremony held at the police headquarters.

Caballero was formerly assigned at the Administrative Resource Management Division of the area police command in Northern Luzon.

He vowed to do his best in stopping criminal activities in the province.
