Rain to continue in next 3 days
MANILA, Philippines — The western portion of Southern Tagalog, the Visayas and Mindanao will continue to experience rain in the next three days due to the southwest monsoon or habagat.
As of yesterday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said no low-pressure area or brewing storm was spotted in and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
However, the southwest monsoon will bring rain over Metro Manila, Bicol, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) and Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) as well as in Bataan and Zambales.
PAGASA said other areas of the country would either experience fair weather or partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain and thunderstorms.
By tomorrow and Thursday, the effects of the monsoon will be more concentrated on the western part of Luzon and the Visayas.
The rest of the country will have improved weather condition including Mindanao with chances of isolated rain and thunderstorms.
