BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P5.1 million was seized in separate anti-narcotics operations in Negros Occidental that also resulted in the arrest of five drug suspects, authorities reported yesterday.
Among those arrested were Jonalyn Bugalon, alleged leader of the Bugalon Drug Group, and Juanito Artisano Jr., who were both collared in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City on Sunday night, according to Lt. Judesses Catalogo, spokesman for the provincial police.
The other suspects were identified as Ahzer Villarosa of Barangay Pahanocoy, Kabankalan, and Juning Jalandoni and Justiano Pequiz, who were arrested in Calatrava town and Talisay City, respectively.
Police said charges were being prepared for filing against the suspects.
